At Nairn’s we understand that being diagnosed with gluten intolerance entails dramatic changes in a person’s dietary habits. Our aim is to provide a range of oat food that provides Coeliacs with the same freedom and choice as others. We strive to produce food that is as tasty and wholesome as possible.
In nature oats do not contain gluten but are usually contaminated by other gluten grains. Nairn’s gluten free oats are farmed by a family of Coeliacs who not only understand the importance of following a gluten free diet, have made it their mission to produce oats that are safe to consume. They personally walk the fields to remove any grains that may cause cross contamination, ensure the combine is cleaned down after each harvest and test every individual truck of raw oats which enters and leaves the mill.
Bearing Coeliac UK’s crossed grain symbol, every Nairn’s gluten free production is gluten free tested prior to release, to ensure that they contain 20 parts per million or less of gluten, in line with current EC gluten labelling legislation.
