If there’s one guy who knows about staying energised for whatever life throws at your it’s Matt Rees, AKA The Welsh Runner. Matt began running on new year’s day 2015 and hasn’t looked back since. Initially setting out to try and combat his own anxiety and depression, Matt quickly found not only a means of dealing with what he was going through, but his calling too.
Ever since then he’s been building knowledge and experience on how to become the best runner he can be. Not only does Matt chart his own progress and training journey on his website, but offers online coaching for to those who wish to improve their running. Oh and he’s a member of the ‘under 2 hours 25 minute marathon’ club (which is very, very impressive if that needs any clarification!).
